Great experience selling with Melanie. I really liked the way she prepared the house for selling, from having a staging company come in to help me get things just so (be sure to ask for specific advice in particular areas or else the feedback will be a vague statement such as “decorative items for this area can be rented.” Otherwise the advice was great, such as take these two books from your closet and put them here, move this table here, turn the bed this way, etc), to the promotional material (an info booklet, a video, an iguide,) and preparing for the listing with a “coming soon” posting on her realtor groups and planning a catered realtor open house. Fortunately, because of all that great prep work, we had to cancel the open house because we had an over list offer before the house even went live on MLS. I also really liked that she can relate to the lives of those of us in the military. It’s like she’s an instant old friend.
